  • Michel Schneider Muskateller medium dry
  • As well as new innovations such as the „Living Labels“ by Michel Schneider

Prepare to be surprised!

Michel Schneider, one of the most well-known ZGM labels, is celebrating its 150th anniversary. To honour this, there will be some anniversary sales promotions. In January and February an extraordinary 3+1 free offer will be running in grocery stores. Starting March 2019 the Michel Schneider wine range will be complemented with the „Muskateller medium dry“, (Available from March 2019 at recommended retail price incl. VAT: 4.49 €/0.75 L bottle). Aromatic grape varieties are the current trend.

At the ProWein this year ZGM is introducing the new “Living Labels” by Michel Schneider. Using an App on your Smartphone the label begins to “talk”. Augmented Reality is the name for this great new application which creates the computer-based visualisation. “You are standing in a supermarket and are looking for a suitable wine or some fine spirits, so you open your App, scan the label with your Smartphone and all of a sudden the bottle starts telling you all about the contents, the country of origin and the winemakers” as Matthias Vollherbst from the printing company of the same name explains this new innovation.

On top of this, ZGM is putting its focus on the successfully launched de-alcoholised wines from the Michel Schneider range which were chosen by the trade press for the second time to be the best de-alcoholised wines on the market.

ZGM is offering a new trio from South Africa for aficionados of medium sweet wines as of the ProWein 2019:  Stony Cape „Medium Sweet“.  The South African wine brand Stony Cape which is already well-established in the market will be joined by medium sweet white, rosé and red wines. ZGM research has shown that only a limited assortment of medium sweet wines from overseas is available on the German market. By offering this trio of wines ZGM would like to provide enthusiasts of foreign wines with some new gourmet tastes (recommended retail price incl. VAT: 3.49 €/0.75 L bottle, available as of March 2019).

Pinot Blanc dry and Pinot Grigio dry from the Mosel region will enrich our Peter & Peter wine assortment as of March 2019 (recommended retail price incl. VAT: 4.99 €/0.75 L bottle, available as of March 2019). ZGM’s premium brand has prioritized on the typical steep slope viticulture of the Mosel region up to now.

ZGM continues to focus on both Riesling wines from the Donatushof Estate which undergo spontaneous fermentation and excel with their top quality. Offering a dry and medium-sweet (feinherb) Riesling from the Saar region ZGM counts on the small but impressive wine-growing region and on the excellent wine quality provided by the family wine estate Michael Frank (recommended retail price incl. VAT: 5.99 €/0.75 L bottle).
